Highland ConnectED
What is the ConnectED card?
The ConnectED card is a student library card from Selover Public Library. You can use it to get books, eBooks, and more. You don’t ever have to worry about overdue fines with your ConnectED card. If you already have a regular library card, the ConnectED card gives you ten additional eBook checkouts.

How do I get a ConnectED card for my student?
First, your child may already have been issued a ConnectED card if they began Kindergarten after 2021! Most Highland kindergarten students are issued a ConnectED card at the start of the school year. You can check by calling the library at 419-768-3431 or emailing us at info@seloverlibrary.org.
If you know your student does not have a ConnectED card, simply download and fill out this form. Then, you can either email us a scan or photo of the completed form, or have your student turn in their completed form to their homeroom teacher or school librarian. Once we have the form, we’ll issue a ConnectED card, which will be delivered to the student’s homeroom teacher.

What do I do first?
Now that you have your ConnectED card, the first step is to change your temporary password (provided when the card is issued) to your 4-digit Highland student ID.
How to change your password:
-
Go to cool-cat.org.
-
Click My Account in the upper right corner.
-
Enter your library card number and temporary password.
-
Click on Account Preferences.
-
For Password, click Change.
-
Type your temporary password in Current Password, your student ID number in New Password, and click Submit. Now you are able to access all the cool stuff your ConnectEd card makes available to you.
