2025 Summer Library Program (SLP) Grant

Selover Library Receives Summer Reading Grant ​​
Selover Public Library in Chesterville is pleased to announce that it is a recipient of the 2025 Summer Library Program (SLP) grant. Thanks to a $2,000 grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio, Selover Library will be providing six exciting events at no cost to attendees during their Summer Reading program.
The purpose of the 2025 SLP grant program is to empower libraries to enhance their 2025 summer programs with library-led activities that spark creativity and learning, engage individuals of all ages, and benefit their communities. This grant requires a 25% funding match from the library.
Selover Library will use the grant funds to provide the following programs to the community. These programs are open to all ages and do not require registration. Attendees at outdoor programs should bring a blanket or chair for seating.
